Therapeutic Style
My style is warm, person-centred and compassion-focused. I see therapy as a collaborative space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences and be supported to work towards achieving your mental health and wellbeing goals. In Vietnamese, life and time are often understood as a stream that keeps flowing. A therapy session, then, is like stepping aside for a moment beside the “stream of life,” where clarity and self-compassion can be found before dipping your toes back into the water.Every stream is unique — and so is yours.
Lived Experience
Alongside evidence-based practice, I bring with me the fruits gathered from lived experience as an adult migrant, queer person of Asian heritage and person of faith. I recognise how one’s wellbeing needs to be understood in the context of culture, family and personal history.
